I also use Catch-up, this can also be accessed on
http://www.pcsupport.com.
In addition I have access to liveupdate on http://www.nortonweb.com/home
.shtml
and Software Updatefinder on McAfee clinic http://www.mcafee.com/centers
/clinic/.
Both of these are subscription services though.

And yes, I agree, none of them find all of the software installed, but
they all find the odd different program. So I use them in  rotation.
