Are you sure that Money isn't already installed?  This might explain why the install isn't proceeding.  Another reason might be that the main HP installer has placed a pre-load for Money in a separate folder and it needs to be loaded from there.

Have a look in the Programs menu for HP Services or something similar.

  I have a HP pavilion 7960 running windows ME with 128 mb ramm 40 gig hard drive. I try to install microsoft money 2003 and it won't install. I place it in the cdrom drive and I see the window installer window pop up for a second and it disappears. The cd, I can hear spinning in the drive but the installation never completes. I have checked the cdrom drive in the system folder and it claims it is working properly. Whats the deal?
