See if you have more than 250 files and or directories
in the ROOT directory of the floppy.
If so, get rid of a couple files from the root directory
and create a directory or two there and start moving
files from "the root" to sub directories.
Keep doing this until you give the file system room
for entries in the "root". (There is a limit of just over ~250~.)
A generic definition of "the root directory" is the first
level of the file structure...
C:\onefile.txt is a file in the "root"
C:\directory is a directory in the "root"
C:\directory\anotherfile.txt is a file that would not be
in "the root".
Hope this helps. Rick Glazier

> Ok, while sending small files to a 3.5 floppy disk, all of the sudden it's telling me that cannot copy: the directory or file
cannot be created. The floppy is only half used up and the files can surely fit. So does anyone know exactly what this means and how
to fix the problem? Thanks so much in advance! Joseph Rydzy
