Hi!,

My brother has not been able to insert certain fonts & symbols into MS Word & MS
Publisher documents. I am quoting from his email to me:

"...before I got your messge I called Microsoft last night.

Guy said, try Word and see if the same thing happens. So I did and yup it
did. Same thing as in Pub. He said I might delete the fonts giving me
trouble, they might be corrupted somehow. Then we said good-bye.

So I did, deleted about a half-dozen fonts I knew were giving me trouble..
Then went to Eliz's machine, copied the deleted fonts, and reinstalled. And
guess what - no difference. So I played around on her machine and with the
same programs and same fonts, she has no problem. Can insert symbols from
 both Word & Pub.

I'm baffled. Could it be something in Windows 98? Is my machine possessed?
Its a mystery. I was going to completely uninstall Pub but I don't think
I'm going to do it now, not with the same problem occurring in Word.
Anyway, the guy said to call back if I was still having problems. Probably
 wait until after Christmas.

Anyway, let me know what you think."

FYI...he is using Word95 & Publisher95 on a Win98 machine with 64mb ram. Any
suggestions out there?

Thanks.........Deb
