I gave up on Norton a long time ago. (Two years+.)
It worked for me, but when people found I liked it and used it
they wanted me to fix theirs. (Which always took a long time, back then...)

The only "problem" I have had with AVG (on mutiple machines) is with the
"check all files all the time" feature... It brought QuickBooks to its knees
while it (QB) loaded. Setting AVG "a little" less agressive fixed that...

Use the Norton "cleaner" (or cleaners) from their site...
It gets "more" out, but not all... (It can't be used for getting more time
on your "subs" for example, so that proves lots is left in...)

So my question is, should I capitulate and setup the Norton that came with the laptop and dump the AVG etc.?
