Thank you Don Penlington for your valuable suggestions. I did go to the Gibson Research group and did a few tests. I was amazed and really shocked out of my shoes, that for some unknown reason ALL my ports were in bright red and open except for two ports! In spite of my having Zone Alarm and I just signed up for the free 15 day trial of the paid version. I wonder if this is because I now have satellite, whereas when I had a dial up modem and did the test back then I was all protected with nothing open. Does anyone have any further suggestions? It almost appears someone is hacking in during the evening time to my computer since in the early daytime I am access streaming programs in both video and audio with no problems. I am trying to find out the answer but I am not computer savvy enough to easily accomplish this feat. I am trying to find out how to close the ports. ZA doesn't seem to be of any help. Thanks for help. Hulda Robertson
