FAT32 supports much more than 40gb.
Install it.
NTFS and FAT32 for home use and small incrimental non-critical security is
better (IMO) because of access by dos and other copy utilities you may want
to use such as Drive Image or Norton Ghost. Not so much in copying, but
during restore is where you realize problems.
I have use both and like to keep my server o/s partition NTFS. The rest i
use FAT32.
