I added some RAM and replaced the battery on my granddaughter's HP6460 today
and decided to do a software upgrade on the OS.  I went to the MS site and
downloaded the latest W98-SR2 upgrade software.  It included a security
patch for IE6, she's running IE4, and this apparently has caused a problem.
When I went on to download IE5.5 (I don't trust the IE6 releases yet) the
setup program reported that it can't install 5.5 because a newer version is
resident - it isn't because when I launch Explorer it's still 4.   How Can I
get the setup program to run?

One caveat,  I didn't restart after the SR2 upgrade, will that make a
difference?
