http://www.mp3.com/ is a good place to start. You might want to read
through the "Getting Started" section. Also the "MP3's Beginner's Guide"
at http://www.mp3now.com/index.html, is good. There are many ftp
clients: CuteFTP, Ws_FTP, Bullet Proof FTP are some. You *can* download
from ftp sites with a browser, but an ftp client is much better. The
best site I've found to actually find mp3 music sites is
http://www.audiogalaxy.com/. You can use the "Search" button to exclude
"Ratio" sites. If you get an mp3 that sounds garbled, go here to get an
"uncooker" http://WWW.FREE-MUSIC.COM/uncook952.htm.
