Interesting, this talk about Norton. When I bought  my HP Compaq  notebook 
last year it had a months free trial of Norton already loaded. When I  bought 
and downloaded the full program it completely wiped my lap top. I  couldn't even 
boot up properly. I had to take to my repair shop and have them  sort it.
