Can anyone help. I need to set up a combo list box for a membership list in
Access 2000, I've got the box set up fine and pointed it to a macro that
then displays the selected record.
However, it only goes to the first matching name on the database, that is
fine for a unique name but no good when the list contains 27 Wilsons! I want
the macro to search for the membership number (which is displayed in column
4 of the combo box).

I have set the gotocontrol to the correct text box, but the macro insists on
trying to insert the surname. I have tried making column 4 bound and that
worked but the list wasn't in alphabetic order, I correct that by adding
ORDER BY [Surname] but the macro refused to work!

I feel I am almost there please, please, please can some kind soul help?

K Gladstone.
