Kevin!

I use Thunderbird 1.0 (on W98SE with the latest/updated freeware
versions of AVAST, Spybot Search and Destroy, AdAware SE Personal and
ZoneAlarm). I have not blocked the downloading of HTML images
associated with email in T'Bird 1.0.

I am on the road using a laptop to download my email for OffLine
reading. The images do not show up in the email and since commercial
email authors more and more are including pertinent information in the
images I often end up with messages consisting of nothing more than
blank rectangles with red dots in the upper left corner. Of course I get
the complete message if I read it online.

Do you have any thoughts on how to retrieve these images during the
downloading process so I can read the complete messages offline?

Thanks
Preston
