Yesterday I installed the AVG anti-virus software on my grand daughter's computer. When I installed it ran the Luke Firewalker screen and searched all folders and files for viruses. Fortunately it found none. Today I went to check it to see if it was starting on startup. It wasn't but I discovered how to pin the program to the start menu (right click desktop icon). Now the puzzle for me. When I double click on the icon to launch the AV program I get the window BUT the scan button (tennis racket image) is grayed out and I don't seem to be able to do a manual scan using the Luke Firewalker screen. I do get a pretty fast window that indicates the software is checking the root directories. How do I get that scan button activated?
