Hello,

Can anyone explain to me what happens when I leave my computer for a time (say,
30 minutes) and then return to it and cannot continue using the applications that I left
open? I have experienced the same phenomenon online and offline, using email and
using Word applications. All applications except simple ones are frozen. I am forced
to shut down my computer (sometimes losing saved work) and restart Windows. Most
times I can RESTART and things return to normal. Other times I have to completely
shut down and wait for a few minutes to restart my computer. The same thing happens
when I am surfing online for a time. The whole thing seems totally arbitrary and I
cannot make a logical connection between one and the other. Seems like Netscape
4.7 does not appreciate my leaving it for awhile or staying with it for awhile.
Anybody know what's going on here?
