Yes, absolutely. I downloaded the 6.0 onto my laptop with ME.  It was an
absolute disaster.  The download paused a couple times during the process
and corrupted the entire operating system.  It took a charge from Microsoft
and 12 noon until 11:30 at night, plus additional time on another day to
clear all the problems.  Without their technical support on the phone,
re-installing the ME OS, etc. I would still not be able to perform normal
functions, plus I have to rebuild my entire address book in Outlook Express.
Their comment was that I should have closed down every single program
running in the background before starting the download.  And truly, I was
really wanting the extra features (like delete cookie files).  All I can say
is good luck!!
