I've got IE4 and Windows 98.  I downloaded setup.exe and used it to
download IE5 plus several other components.  Once components were
downloaded, installation began.  Though some components were
successfully installed, others, including IE5 itself, did not install.
Every time I try again I get the message "Setup was unable to install
all the components.  Please close all applications and try running setup
again."  I've tried closing everything I'm able to close, but I get the
same result.  What should I do?

If I need to uninstall IE4, how do I do that given that IE4 is not among
the applications listed as uninstallable on the Windows "add/remove
software" facility?
