If windows is running you obviously have data in those keys; you just can't
read them. If you have Tweakui, the Microsoft powertoy, there is an option
under the repair tab to repair regedit. I don't know the difference between
repairing regedit and just replacing it with another copy off your
installation disk. That's another option you could try. You can get
