About a week ago this weird problem started.  Any time I start my computer the Mute box is checked in my volume control for Wave
files.  I have searched through everything and cannot find anything that would be muting these.  I uncheck the box but the next time
I have to reboot it's checked again.

Any ideas on how to fix this???  I miss my chimes when Windows starts and it's just an irritation to have to go in and uncheck it
each time.
