Jim D asked about merging monthly membership Excel files.

Excel is quite happy to let you copy and paste from one
file to another.

Have your main file open, then open the first months file
and highlight the range of members.

If there are not many records highlight them by wiping
across them with the mouse but if there are a lot of
records the keyboard method is easier.

Move to top left of the records. Hold down the shift key
and do an End Right cursor key, then an End down cursor
key. That will select all your records PROVIDED you have
not left any gaps. If there are gaps then just keep moving
the cursor keys until all the records are highlighted. Once
all the records are selected let go the Shift key.

Do a Ctrl C to copy the selection, a Ctrl F6 to swap back
to the main file. Move to the appropriate place and do a
Ctrl V to paste in the records from the first month.

Save the main file, do a Ctrl F6 back to the the first
months file, then close it down. Open the next months file
and repeat.
