The only way to do this is to run the Office 97 setup program and then tell
setup to remove all installed components. You will find setup in the Office
directory....this is normally a straight forward and easy procedure but if
setup can't find all it's components  it may ask you to stick your CD ROM
in the drive...if it still chokes because you have changed paths or have
corrupt files then reinstall Office and then run setup ...then uninstall.
