Sorry Doug. As far as I know, the "set" command to change the
environment size will not work in anything but your "config.sys" file. I
believe the default size is 160 bytes but can be increased to 32,768
bytes.
For example, if you wanted to increase the environment size to 1,600
bytes, the line in config.sys would read:
shell=command.com /p /e:1600
There are spaces before both slashes. The "/p" specifies that the shell
program is to be permanent while you are in DOS.
