This appears to be the type of question answered in Symantec's knowledge
base at www.symantec.com, Support. If Norton Disk Doctor won't fix
running in Windows (presuming you use Windows), run Disk Doctor in DOS.
If that doesn't work, run Scandisk, and then see if Norton diagnostics
will work.
