The easiest way to do this is in excel, strangely. Open excel, choose Data,
get external data, new query. MS Query will attempt to install now if you
don't already have it installed. Next pick an appropriate selection for you
access driver, and follow the wizard along. After you connect to your
database, there will be another wizard in MS Query that will walk you
through choosing which columns to bring into excel, using what filter and
sort. If you are unfamiliar with this process, simply run the wizard, then
you can look under the sql button to see the syntax the wizard wrote for
your external data. Close Query and the data will be returned to your
workbook. Save the workbook as a .CSV and your done.
Can't help you with Access users groups, I use MS/SQL.

I need to exprot to a comma delimited file one field (e-mail address)
from an MS Access 2000 database.

Can't figure out how to do this.

PS Anyone know of a gentle, kind MS Access users group listserve?
