Thanks Robin - indeed they were Front Page.  I had not used that programme
but when someone else did some work on our web page they used it so I'm
guessing that FP put those files in there as part of the web page set up.
I've kept copies of them but have removed them from my server as they do not
affect the web page itself.  Dianne
