I am working with a blind one handed typist who is trying to learn the
computer. Sticky keys isn't behaving and doesn't want to open the Start
Menu and if it does his screen reading software keeps echoing the word
"Windows."

I'm trying to find a shortcut to pop open My Documents from a shortcut
on his Kensington Expert Mouse. It has 6 programmable buttons that I'm
setting to open his programs, but I can't find how to start My Docs.
The mouse won't accept a shortcut to the program -- it wants an exe
file.

I know this is tough, but anyone with his handicaps who can still
persevere needs all the help we can give him.

Thanks,
Jane Walbridge

I dont know if this will help you or not, but RIGHT CLICK on a blank spot on
the desktop, go to Properties and click on that..... then down at the bottom
left.. it will say Customize Desktop - click on that. A window will open
and at the top there, where it says General Tab - and under Desktop Icons, put
a check mark by My Documents ----- click OK.. and close it out. I dont know
if it's necessary to click on OK on the second page left or not, but do it
anyway. This should put an ICON on the desktop for you. Harriet
