Hello all;

One of our new computers (PIII with win98SE) on boot started to come up
with the following error message:
                        "Could not create device handle"

The message itself is a little grey window with a white-on-red cross in
one corner, "ExpTest" on the banner and OK button only to click.

The owner has noticed that this message started appearing after he
installed Nero and InCD software. He uninstalled both programs (using
Nero's own uninstall option, InCD via Add/Remove) but the message still
appears. The Registry search shows ExpTest listed on the right-hand panel
with no clear association.

Has anybody seen a similar message ? Can we increase the number of device
handles ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Irena.
