Harry, I recently helped my daughter do this when she purchased a new computer. With O.E. opened in the upper half of your screen, using a blank floppy opened in the lower half of sceen, simply highlight the emails you wish to save (hold down control key and select a group of emails), then drag to floppy. Reverse this action on the new computer - open O.E. and select from floppy and drag to your new folders in O.E. I believe this also works with "drag and drop" onto a CD.Peggy Tischhauser Magalia CA --- On Sun 03/14, Harry Winster < [log in to unmask] > wrote:From: Harry Winster [mailto: [log in to unmask]]To: [log in to unmask]: Sun, 14 Mar 2004 07:25:48 +0200Subject: [PCSOFT] Saving emailsI have a new PC and would like to save all my emails on the old machine andtransfer them to the new one.I tried to access the archives as I'm sure this has been asked before butcould not get to the archive page.I'm using Outlook Express 6.Could anyone point me in the right direction?ThanksHarry Winster"Hold No Punches.."
