Maybe not exactly what you were needing but something that may work as well:
I don't have the latest WP on my machine now, but back in WP5.2 there was a
search and replace for codes which would do this.  There was a choice of
Font which you could choose which font to replace and what to replace it
with.  Similar function in Word for Windows under Search and Replace
Formatting.
