I have received several copies of the needed files.  Thanks to all who
responded.
All are restored and my PC is now happy again.

But now there is a new question.....
Some of you sent me two files:  SYMEVNT.386  &  SYMEVNT1.DLL
While others sent those two _plus_ two more:  32EVNT1.DLL & SYMEVNT.SYS

I wonder what the difference is.....
Are/were you all using the PRO version?
Did somebody upgrade from an earlier version and have "leftovers"?
Are some of you running from a CD install while others are working with a
web download (like me)?
Since one of the extra files begins with 32, does that mean there is a 16
bit and 32 bit version?
Inquiring minds want to know <g>.
