In DxDiag, the DirectX diagnostics program, everything is OK, including
testing Direct3D using the DirectX 7 interface. When it's about to test
Direct3D using the DirectX 8 interface, it does not display and in the status,
I get "Failure at Step 5 (GetDeviceCaps) no 3D available" .

What is causing this.
