Diane,

Go to Control Panel \ Administrative Tools \ Computer Management and under
"Storage" on the left, select (left click) "Disk Management". Then, in the
bottom of the window on the right, right click the drive / partition you
want to change and select "Change Drive Letter and Paths...". A small window
will appear with the options. Depending on how you want the drives arranged,
you may need to change the drive letter for the same drive more than once.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Changing a Drive Letter

Dear Listers,

How do I change the letter of a drive, like an extra HD or CD drive. I'm
using WinXP2 on an HP computer.

I went under devices, clicked on the CD drive, but couldn't find anyplace
to change the letter. There was no settings tab.
