I'm cleaning up duplicate files on my NT40 server. I used a utility to find them now I need to find who they belong to. The GUI allows me to check the properties/security/ownership of each file but I have over 300 pages of files that need attention. I have Engineering files from 10 to 80MB with multiple duplications all over the place. I'm no Engineer so I need to hunt down the owners and ask if they really need these files in duplicate form.

What I need is a command line solution to find the owner of a file. Possibly something I can put in a batch file to seek out all the files of a certain engineer.

Don't have a clue how to do it, time to ask.
