Paula, make sure I.E. is set to work online. If it isn't, Outlook
Express will not go online. I hope this is a solution for you.

I am having a problem with Outlook Express. The only way to access my in
box is to first open I.E. 5.5 and then click on read mail. When I use
the shortcut to my inbox, it opens but does not go on line.  I have
uninstalled and reinstalled, but this has not helped. Any ideas?  Win95
