I defrag weekly using the WinME defrag utility.  As long as I shut
down everything that is running and remember to turn off my screen
saver it runs fine.  Even if I forget the screen saver, it completes
with only a single pause.  Takes about 5 minutes to run on a half
full 20 gig hard drive.
