hi, just go to start, settings and then control panel. in control panel,
double click the network icon and you the network window. in the middle of
that window on the left you will see "add" and you want to click that. then
you will get another window where you want to click to highlight "protocol".
when you do that the "add" on the right hand side will be highlighted. click
that and you will get a protocol window and on the right hand side where it
says "network protocols", you click your down arrow all the way to the
bottom. there you will see TCP/IP. click on it to highlight it and then click
"ok". the computer will do the rest for you and then tell you to restart and
when you come up again you'll have TCP/IP. good luck and happy surfin', dave
