I recently added a notepad shortcut to my XP sendto menu. I used the
following method:

First what you need to do is copy a shortcut to notepad. Since the file
is not easy to find, I simply copied the shortcut from the Start menu.
To do this, click on "Start" go to "All Programs" and then to
"Accessories".

In the "Accessories" menu, right click on "Notepad" and click "Copy".

Now to paste that shortcut in your "Send To" menu! The easiest way to
access they items in the Send To menu is to click on "Start" then "Run"
and type "sendto" with quotation marks and click "OK". This will open
the Send To folder.

Right click in the "SendTo" window and click on "Paste".

There will now be a shortcut to Notepad in the "SendTo" window.

Close the window and you will be all set.
