Justin is correct. This will temporarily "fix" the problem.
The BIGGER problem is that this has been around since the beginning days
of Windows 95. It wasn't fixed in any of the 95 "upgrades", it still
exists in 98, and I'll bet we will see it again in the "Second Edition"
when that is released. The Windows registry files have never been very
solid or dependable (IMHO) and this is just one of the many corruption's
that occur on a very frequent basis -- it's just more visible than most.
Apparently it was easier for MS to develop the repair tool and give it
away with the TWEAK UI tool than to actually fix the problem. However,
since the problem keeps recurring, I don't think it's right to call the
TWEAK thing a "tool" or a "fix" or even a "repair" for that matter.
