ZD Net is NOT charging for downloads. You can download WinZip from this link
on ZDNet by just clicking on the "Download now" tab. There is another tab
that is titled "Latest Prices" but after clicking on that, yes, it gives the
price and allows you to register officially by paying for a copy of WinZip
right away. However, if you simply want to download and evaluate it (and
perhaps pay and register if you wish later), just click on the "Download
now" tab.
I just did it for fun and I now have the full copy available for evaluation
as I would for any other shareware program.
