No what i think is wrong. You said that you installed CD burner nd ofcorse
with software.
It seems that CD burner software replaced "standard" visual C++ libray with
older version.
Find file msvcp50.dll nd if exist msvcp60.dll right click on them and
select properties-> version
If msvcp50.dll version number is smaller than 5.00.7022 then replace it
with file from
Win98 disk . It is in file /win98/win98_37.cab . It not then make copy
somewhere and also.
If you find msvcp60.dll then make backup copy of it and replace with file
from DLL World
http://dll.yaroslavl.ru/ or check your installed progams which has
installed it. Version on
computers in my neighborhood is 6.00.8168.0
Best is find if there is upgrade to your CD burner software.
