I recently deleted WebTV for Windows and afterwards could not use
either my Netscape browser or IE.  I can connect to the Internet
but but both browsers give me the following error message:
     IExplore (Netscape) executed an invalid instruction in
     module WS2_32.DLL at 0617:76003481.

I tried reverting to earlier versions of both browsers in the
hope that they would work but they didn't.  I'm thinking of
copying what I need to CDROM and wiping the drive and starting
all over but there's two years worth of files,programs,
upgrades, and other stuff I would probably have to reinstall.
Any suggestion would be welcomed.  I won't reformat until I
hear from someone who knows more than I do.  TIA
