I've never seen or heard of it. can you give me the source info (if you see
it on the net, please point me the address. thanks)? I've done setup with 4
optical drives (2 CDRWs + DVD + DVD-R, don't ask me why, I just do what
customer asked for).

However, if you do want to disable one device, either unplug it, or in BIOS,
disable one of IDE port (which the device is on).
