Ashok,
This is a VERY loose overview of the process.
1. Boot with a DOS6.2 floppy.
2. Run FDISK to delete the current partition(s) and create new FAT16
partition(s)
3. Format the disk with DOS 6.2
4. Install Win3.x. (optional)
5. Reboot the PC.
6. Install the Windows 98 UPGRADE version and select the option to
keep the old system files.
7. Reboot the PC
8. Edit the C:\MSDOS.SYS file and change the boot option to read
BOOT GUI = 0.
9. Reboot the PC.
Now when you turn on the PC, you should see a menu system with options to
load win98, Win3.x, or DOS.
(although that won't be the exact wording).
