My computer has started running very slow and hanging, with no apparent
rhyme or reason. It will do  it when I am working on the computer, not
online, when I am online, when I am reading or access mail. Some times it
will do all this, then there are times when it won't. I never know if it
will freeze up on me. Ctrl/alt/del work some of the time to restart it, but
most times it will reboot with the same problems. I have not messed with any
settings--too much of a novice to do so. I have run defrag and scandisk, and
deleted unused files/programs, after the problem started. Still does it.  As
near as I can tell, the problem started when I switched from AOL to
worldshare and started using outlook express. Wasn't much the first month,
but now, I never know if the next click will hang me.

I am going crazy!!

I have a Pentium, 75MHz, 16 MB ram, 1 GB HD
