Don't know if you'll have any luck with the XP version of
 MSCONFIG on Win 9x system.  It was specifically written
 for the NT core and therefore works on W2K and XP.  Use
 the Win 98 MSCONFIG for win 9x machines.  MFC42u.dll is
 system file, and a part of W2k and XP only.  Not relevant
 in 98SE.  It could mess up your machine too.  Hope yours
 is a spare machine.
