Joe,
What you need to do is compose your message then go to file, print and
select Winfax as the printer. You should have a "Printer" in your control
panel that is named WinFax. You can then add the phone number or use one
from your address book for faxing. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Does anyone know how to send and receive a fax using the Symantec Winfax
Starter Edition that came with Outlook98? When I choose File/New/Fax
Message and then Send it places the message in the Outbox and tries to send
it as a mail message. I then get an error "Unable to connect to server .."
