Paula,

This is what I found from Microsoft at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;217148

Adjusting AutoComplete Settings

To modify your settings for the AutoComplete feature or clear all items
from the list of form or password suggestions, follow these steps in
Internet Explorer:

On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

Click the Content tab.

Click AutoComplete.

Click the appropriate AutoComplete check boxes, or click Clear Forms or
Clear Passwords to clear all saved items from the appropriate
AutoComplete history.

Click OK, and then click OK.

I did as instructed below, but the drop down lists are still there on
all
search engines that I use. Any other suggestions? Paula Houseworth
