Often when attempting to sign to on to the internet, the program will not
connect.  I have to go to internet options - connections - and change
settings to always dial.  This works ok for awhile, then it resets itself to
do not dial and I have to reset to always dial to make a connection.
This random behavior, no pattern that I can determine. Does anyone have any
idea how to fix this?

Windows ME, Pentium 3, Explorer 5.5, Earthlink dial-up.
