Jim,

Nor do I ever remember or have ever seen them creating file extension with
.123, but I have a user here (the only one) that has dozens of files with
this extension. The version of Lotus is "123 97". He claims that Lotus
adds the extension and he does change it. Lotus opens the files just fine,
but Excel error on them even if you change the extension to .wk4.

Thank for the thoughts.
Steve

Problem

                Steve,

It's been a loooong time, but I don't recall Lotus ever
creating a data file
with the extension of .123. Release 1 used WKS, release 2
used WK1 and that
                WK+number format is still used.
