What sort of sites are you visiting? This message usually occurs on sites
where you have to become a member or register. It is normally a function of
the site itself. It can occur on a site where that is not intended, but
may be poorly coded.
Perhaps you could give us a couple of examples, then we can test them.
It is always a good idea to have more then one browser, so that you can
test whether any problems of this nature are browser-specific. You may
(rarely) find that one browser can access a site where another fails.
Mozilla or Firefox are popular free browser choices alternative to IE.
Some, such as Maxthon (which I use) or Avant, are not, as they use the same
base as IE and are therefore IE replacements, not alternatives.
