Kathleen,

The only way I know of moving OE's .mbx files into Outlook is to export
them from OE to a .PST file that Outlook can use.

hope this helps.

Having recently made the transition to Outlook from Outlook Express (having
toasted a hard drive), I can't figure out how to move all my .mbx files
(recovered beautifully from thanks to OnTrack at http://www.ontrack.com --
ever need to recover your fat32s, this is the place to go!). I really need
to be able to read that email!!!

I've already checked the Knowledge Base with Microsoft, but have found no
solutions, and have done extensive Internet searching.

But also, what IS a reasonable amount of email to keep in a software program
like Outlook? Having been on the Internet almost ten years, I have about
3/4 of a GIG of mail stored away in some 120 .mbx folders.
